Re “City Hall’s your port, Mayor, “ Editorial, Aug. 21

Military service is not a joke, unlike the tone of your editorial. As a Navy reservist, Mayor Eric Garcetti’s sacrifice, which potentially puts his life on the line for our country notwithstanding the impact on his family, should be revered, not ridiculed.
