Readers React: Manson getting married? Only in California.

To the editor: The thought of this vile monster being permitted to marry while serving his sentence in prison is simply beyond evil and beyond insanity, not to mention an affront to his numerous victims their surviving family members. (“Charles Manson gets license to wed 26-year-old he said he wouldn’t marry,” Nov. 17)
The governor, the state attorney general and the head of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation should do everything in their power to stop this madness. Charles Manson should be punished for his crimes, not enjoying the limelight of a celebrity.
This is truly sick and disgusting. Only in California.
