Meghan Daum hit the nail on the head in decrying the abuse and misuse of the word “humble.â€
The truly humble are not posting their accomplishments and awards on Facebook or Instagram, nor are they tweeting them for all the world to see.
The truly humble quietly do good works for others or for their own personal fulfillment.
If they are acknowledged by their peers, friends or the community, they graciously say, “Thank you.â€
