Letters: Photographing celebrities’ kids
Re “Bills OKd by Brown include limits on paparazzi,†Sept. 25
It appears that a simple solution to the problem of aggressive paparazzi taking pictures of celebrities’ children is being overlooked. I believe that the children are more frightened by the parents running away from photographers than by having their pictures taken.
Instead of passing a law, what if the parents came out of their homes, stopped, told the children to smile and let the paparazzi shoot all the pictures they wanted? Eventually the pictures would be worth much less and the chase would be unnecessary.
Saved would be the children’s psyches — and the need for a state law.
