Drawing comes to life
Sometimes interesting photographs come to fruition in a matter of seconds. And sometimes ... they take an entire day. That was the case for this image shot by Ari Fararooy.
Fararooy, who was participating in a weekly-themed competition hosted by Instagram, drew his own reflection on a white poster board. “It took a few takes to get the framing right, but after a while, I was finally able to align the drawing with the background,†he said.
Fararooy was able to take the photo himself with a camera application called PlayMemories, which allows one’s mobile device to connect to a Sony camera via wi-fi. That made it possible to both view the composition framed by his camera as well as capture the image.
