Woman’s body found near Santa Barbara-area shooting range
The body of a woman has been found near a popular destination for target shooting in the mountains north of Santa Barbara.
Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Kelly Hoover said a passerby discovered the woman’s body Saturday morning near the Glass Factory, an open shooting range in the Los Padres National Forest.
Hoover said the woman’s identity and the cause and circumstances surrounding her death are under investigation.
