Lanes reopen after big rig crash shuts down 10-110 Freeway transition for hours
An overturned big rig triggered the closure of the 10 to 110 Freeway transition near downtown Los Angeles.
The 10 Freeway to 110 Freeway transition near downtown Los Angeles reopened Thursday morning after a big rig overturned and triggered an hours-long closure.
East and westbound transition lanes from the 10 to the southbound 110 were closed about 1 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. They reopened at 9:15 a.m.
The collision was reported about 12:49 a.m. on the southbound 110 near West Adams Boulevard. The big rig rolled over on its side and was blocking both the east and westbound 10 Freeway transition lanes.
Crews worked for hours to remove the contents of the big rig, CHP officials said.
