Man, two dogs die in San Bernardino County house fire
Authorities on Monday were investigating the cause of a house fire that left a man and two dogs dead in San Bernardino County.
The blaze was reported shortly before 2:30 a.m. in the 11500 block of Villa Street in Adelanto, and flames and heavy smoke were shooting out the front window when firefighters arrived, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
The man and dogs were found after the blaze was controlled, fire officials said. The man’s name and age were not released.
The fire caused an estimated $10,000 in damage. The cause was under investigation by the Fire Department and San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
