A shooting in El Monte that left three people dead appears to be a double murder-suicide, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials said.
About 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, El Monte police responded to the 9900 block of Marshall Street to a report of a gunshot victim. When they arrived, officers found three dead -- two women and a man. Detectives have concluded that the male victim shot the two women before turning the gun on himself.
