Earthquake: 2.6 quake strikes La Habra

A shallow magnitude 2.6 earthquake was reported Monday afternoon in La Habra, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 12:14 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 0.6 miles.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was one mile from Brea, three miles from Fullerton and three miles from Rowland Heights.

In the last 10 days, there have been nine earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
