Streisand at Oscars: In the Jan. 31 Calendar section, an article about Barbra Streisand performing at this year’s Academy Awards said that Norah Jones co-wrote “Everybody Needs a Best Friend” with Oscar host Seth MacFarlane for his movie “Ted.” The song, which Jones will sing at the awards, was written by MacFarlane and Walter Murphy.
“Dignity mortgage”: In the Jan. 29 Business section, an article about a proposal for a new type of subprime loan whose supporters call it the Dignity Mortgage misspelled San Diego renter Obie Sibug’s first name as Ollie.
“Warm Bodies”: In the Feb. 1 Calendar section, a review of the movie “Warm Bodies” referred to actress Teresa Palmer’s role in “last year’s ‘Love & Honor.’ ” “Love & Honor” was released internationally but has not yet played in the U.S.
