Charter donations: In the Dec. 2 Section A, an article about undisclosed donors to a charter schools association campaign committee erroneously attributed a statement to Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation spokeswoman Karen Denne, who had provided it to The Times. It was Gregory McGinity, Eli Broad’s policy advisor, who said Broad contributed to the PAC not to delay disclosure but “because he supported the organization’s statewide election strategy.”
