Julie Bracamontes had 15 kills, 12 digs and five aces to lead visiting Garfield (3-0, 1-0). Huntington Park is 3-1, 0-1.
MARINE LEAGUE
Narbonne d. Carson, 25-11, 28-30, 25-23, 25-17
Mary Laupepe tallied 18 kills and five blocks, Alice Moimoi had 17 kills and Melissa Moimoi added 34 assists for Carson (1-3, 0-1). Narbonne improves to 1-0 in league.
San Pedro d. Gardena, 25-16, 25-11, 25-7
Amber McColl had seven kills and six blocks and Jenny Miller added seven kills to lead San Pedro (2-2, 1-0) in the league opener for both schools.
VALLEY MISSION LEAGUE
Reseda d. Granada Hills Kennedy, 25-16, 25-22, 25-13
Lindsey Banner had 20 kills to lead visiting Reseda (3-1, 1-0) over Granada Hills Kennedy (0-4, 0-1).

Valley Alternative d. Downtown Magnets, 25-12, 25-2, 25-7
Olayinka Rahman had nine kills and six aces and Luisa Umana added five kills and nine aces to lead Valley Alternative (4-0), which registered 42 aces in the inaugural league match. Downtown Magnets is 0-1.
