Philip Rosenberg had 26 kills and nine aces and Jake Schorr had 10 kills for visiting Pasadena Poly (13-0, 4-0).

Davey Rowley had seven kills and nine digs, Brian Skinner had seven blocks and eight digs and Darryl Shiraishi added 26 assists and three blocks for Valencia (7-1, 3-0).

Mike Payne had eight kills and 10 blocks for Viewpoint (6-2, 1-1). Windward improved to 5-0, 2-0.

Brentwood (5-0, 2-0) was led by Ilan Goldstein with 13 assists, 10 kills and two aces and Nick Drake added nine kills and six aces.

Morgan Govaars had 12 kills to lead host Newport Harbor (12-6, 4-0). Aliso Niguel is 1-3 in league.

Joel Thompson had 12 kills to lead host La Serna (5-3, 3-0). Danny Chacon had 12 kills for California (6-4, 0-3).

Aaron Perez had 10 kills and three blocks and Cole Nirnberger added six kills for visiting Claremont (5-3, 2-1). Glendale is 0-3 in league.

Landon Pusieseina had 14 kills and Collin Cooper added 10 kills to lead host Redondo (17-4, 8-0) to its first victory over Mira Costa (8-3, 7-1) since 1999. Mira Costa is ranked No. 5 by The Times.

Tony Ker had six kills and six digs, Bryan Wintroub had five kills and six digs and Ryan Dean had 10 assists, four blocks and two kills for Valencia (6-1, 2-0).

Matt Ceran had 19 kills, Ilan Goldstein added nine and Matt Rapore had seven for Brentwood (4-0, 2-0).
