Joss & Main launches celeb-curated home decor sales
Bridget Moynahan, Orlando Bloom, Zoe Saldana, Courteney Cox, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves are all lending their names -- and personal style -- to the flash-sale site Joss & Main, which has asked the celebs to curate collections of home decor.
The Celebrity Curator for a Cause program launched late Tuesday night. Actress Moynahan kicked off the first sale with mid-century modern selections from the Herman Miller Eames collection, among others. Her picks cover a range of prices. Small items such as personal wooden letter wall hangings ($4.95) are included, as well as furniture including a gray tufted sectional couch from Gus Modern ($2,879.10).
From the looks of things, items are already flying off the virtual shelves. In particular, we’re mourning the white, hand-carved Jeffan Tatum sideboard that sold out quickly. Other Moynahan picks, however, will remain on sale until Sept. 11.
Along with an upfront donation from Joss & Main, 10% of each item sold will benefit the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation, a children’s foundation looking to cure the potentially life-threatening skin affliction.
