Taco Bell testing new biscuit taco and A.M. Crunchwrap with guacamole

Taco Bell isn’t satisfied with turning just one breakfast favorite, the waffle, into a taco. After officially launching the waffle taco earlier this year, the fast food chain is now testing a biscuit taco.

A warm, golden brown, flaky biscuit is shaped like a taco shell. You can order your biscuit taco with the new Southern-inspired crispy chicken and country gravy or crispy chicken and jalapeno honey sauce. Or you can just get it with sausage, egg and cheese or bacon, egg and cheese.

Taco Bell said its biscuits are made with real buttermilk and real butter. The biscuit tacos were originally tested in San Antonio and Atlanta, and are now being tested in select restaurants in Orange County and Los Angeles.

Taco Bell is also testing a new A.M. California Crunchwrap and A.M. Country Crunchwrap. The California variety is filled with bacon, hash browns, eggs, guacamole, cheddar cheese and pico de gallo and the Country version comes with sausage, hash browns, eggs, gravy and cheddar cheese.

The A.M. Crunchwraps were tested in select Orange County and Los Angeles stores and will be available nationally in mid-October.
