Watch this cool trailer for ‘Neat,’ a new bourbon documentary
What’s almost as good as drinking a couple fingers of bourbon neat? Watching video of people making bourbon. Hey, we said almost.
Film composer AJ Hochhalter’s bourbon documentary, “Neat,†is in production in Kentucky. The feature-length film covers everything from farming to making barrels, aging bourbon, bottling bourbon, sipping bourbon and the politics surrounding it. There’s even an interview with the Kentucky governor.
More Jenn and Tonic: Checking out the city’s best bars and cocktails
In between shots of bourbon aging in barrels, bourbon being poured into glasses and barrel-making, there’s plenty of cinematography eye candy — including one shot of a waterfall, from above. There are also horses running in a lush field, farmers in a corn field and glistening rivers, all thanks to a drone.
It’s enough to make you want to stop what you’re doing, grab a bottle and run outside.
Hochhalter and his crew should be through shooting later this year. We’ll be ready, with plenty of bourbon. Check out the trailer for the film below.
