Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr goes sheer

You’d be hard pressed to find a photo of Miranda Kerr looking anything less than absolutely fabulous. She’s married to Orlando Bloom, is a top Victoria’s Secret model and seems to look perfect in everything she puts on.
Whether she’s walking down the runway or caught running errands in New York, Kerr is a true fashion chameleon who is always put together and camera ready. During a recent stroll in the Big Apple, Kerr strutted down the street in a beige, belted Victoria Beckham dress and colorblock Prada tote. She smoldered in a red sheath dress at a Victoria’s Secret event in London and pulled off a playful boho look wearing Giulietta at the CFDA/ Vogue Fashion Fund Awards.
At the recent “Nomad Two Worlds” book launch in New York City, Kerr showed just how to wear the current sheer trend. She paired a sheer-paneled black blouse with a Proenza Schouler fall 2012 silk brocade mini skirt, Christian Louboutin “Big Dorcet” heels and Jimmy Choo “Calista” studded clutch. Her top was sheer, but tasteful thanks to strategically placed fabric panels. The skirt was fun and just the right length.
For a similar sheer blouse, try the Free People sheer blouse from Shopbop for $59 and pair it with the floral brocade skirt from Forever 21 for $19.80. Kerr’s studded clutch adds even more texture to her ensemble. For a similar effect, try the Cesca “Rickee” stud and skull frame clutch for $42 from Nordstrom.com.
Happy shopping.
