Cara Delevingne made a very public response via her Instagram account to false comments by British newspaper The Sun regarding her participation at the Victoria’s Secret show in London two years ago.

The U.K. tabloid paper published an article earlier this week that stated Delevingne was rejected from a casting for the 2014 Victoria’s Secret show held in London for allegedly being “too bloated.â€

In response to the comment, the actress and model shared a letter by Victoria’s Secret chief executive officer Edward Razek addressing the false allegations, on Instagram. “It’s shameless to discuss women’s bodies just to sell papers,†read the caption accompanying the image.

The letter, which was signed by Razek, explains that when organizing the London show, the company had made huge efforts to secure Delevingne in its top model lineup and the only reason she didn’t make an appearance were prior commitments to a movie she was shooting at the time.

“Contrary to the Sun’s claims, which they never bothered to fact check with me, Victoria’s Secret made every effort to have you in the London show. I know because I was the one making the effort. The alleged casting where supposedly disparaging remarks were made never happened. There was NO casting,†wrote Razek.

He went on to invite Delevingne to join this year’s Victoria’s Secret show which will take place in Paris, on Nov. 30.

“We tried hard to have you there. You would have made the show better, as you do anything and everything you’re involved in. So allow me to extend the invitation once again. If you’re free on November 30, please join us in Paris.â€

Even though Delevingne expressed her love for Victoria’s Secret by publicly sharing Razek’s letter – followed by heart emoticons – there is no confirmation that she will be walking the Paris show and joining the likes of Gigi and Bella Hadid, who have already confirmed their attendance via social media.
