Duchess of Cambridge is pretty in ... coral
The walking fascination with fashion that is the Duchess of Cambridge has done it again, making a public appearance at a London school on Tuesday that was all but overshadowed by her choice of attire -- a dress in an eye-catching shade of pink.
According to published reports (because she never calls us directly anymore), for her Tuesday visit to the Blessed Sacrament School, the former Kate Middleton chose a coral- (some say salmon-) colored, belted knee-length dress by Goat, a 10-year-old British brand headed by founder/creative director Jane Lewis.
We did get some firsthand intel about the clutch she was carrying though: The folks at L.K. Bennett (also a British brand) identify it as one of theirs, describing it as a beige, rectangular ‘Natalie’ clutch with woven detail and gold hardware.
The duchess was visiting the school to observe the progress of M-PACT Plus, a program designed to provide early support for schoolchildren affected by a parent’s drug or alcohol problems.
We can only hope that the duchess’ visit ends up having even half as much impact on M-PACT Plus as it has on that coral-colored Goat dress -- which apparently sold out shortly after her appearance.
