Why Taraji P. Henson gave the Internet #allthefeels at the Emmys

It seems no one was happier about Regina King and Viola Davis' Emmy wins than fellow actress and nominee Taraji P. Henson.

The "Empire" star was everyone's favorite Emmy cheerleader after erupting in applause for her friends and fellow African American actresses. Davis, King and Uzo Aduba's Emmy wins marked three victories for African American actresses at the Emmys, tying a record set in 1991 for most acting Emmys awarded to black women in a single year.

Henson, who presented King the award alongside "Empire" co-star Terrance Howard, couldn't contain her excitement when the actress won for supporting actress in a limited series or movie for her role as Aliyah Shadeed in "American Crime."

King, too, was emotional. "That Taraji and Terrence presented me with this is pretty special," she said at the beginning of her speech. "But I should have brought one of those comedy people had!"

Later, in the press room, King told reporters that her first thoughts after winning were: "Did they get that right? Did they really say that?"

Henson wasn't done showing her support after presenting. When Davis became the first African American woman to win for lead actress in a drama, Henson was on her feet in the crowd applauding.

Davis told reporters that Henson is "the most supportive actress."

The Internet couldn't get enough of Henson's enthusiasm, with many emotional social media users catching #allthefeels over the captured Emmys moments.
