Parker Posey reveals the right way to accept an Emmy
- Share via
There’s a right way and a wrong way to accept an Emmy award and the new Web short starring Parker Posey is designed to guide Emmy hopefuls in the right direction. (At least when it comes to our at-home entertainment).
In the short film, Posey stars as J.A.N. (Just Act Naturally), the instructor of a class designed to give actors and actresses the best possible tips for how to accept that dazzling gold award.
Among her helpful tips: “Take your clothes off!” and “Hold it like you own it. Like you’ve already owned it.”
TIMELINE: Emmy winners through the years
The short was written and directed by the comedy team Paulilu (Paul W. Downs and Lucia Aniello) who were also responsible for the “Life After Emmy” video starring Jeremy Piven and Megan Mullally and the “Emmy Training Day” video starring Joel McHale and Melissa McCarthy for last year’s 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards.
