Jerry Seinfeld taking President Obama for a ride in ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’
President Obama will appear in the season premiere of Jerry Seinfeld’s Web series, “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.â€
The episode, debuting Dec. 30 on the streaming network Crackle, was filmed at the White House earlier this month and will feature Seinfeld and Obama riding around in a 1963 Corvette Stingray split-window coupe.
Previous guests on the popular unscripted show — which, just as the name suggests, follows Seinfeld and a fellow comedian as they discuss their craft while driving vintage automobiles — have included Larry David, Trevor Noah, Stephen Colbert and Tina Fey.

While Obama is not a comedian, we can only assume Seinfeld was willing to make an exception for the leader of the free world. According to Crackle, the two talked about life at the White House.
“The President’s humor and generosity are the only reasons this was even possible. He was so easy and fun to be with,†Seinfeld said in a news release.
It’s the latest unconventional media appearance by the president, who bucked tradition by becoming a regular guest on daytime and late-night talk shows while in office and has continued to reach out via new formats, including the mock talk show “Between Two Ferns,†the podcast “WTF,†Vice’s special report “Fixing the System†and the outdoor reality series “Running Wild With Bear Grylls.â€
Other guests this season on “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee†will include Will Ferrell, Steve Martin and Garry Shandling.
