‘Kobe Bryant’s Muse’ to re-air Tuesday on Showtime
On the heels of L.A. Lakers star Kobe Bryant announcing his retirement, Showtime has scheduled an special re-airing of “Kobe Bryant’s Muse†on Tuesday at midnight.
The feature-length documentary will air as part of Showtime’s regular Tuesday sports block that includes “60 Minutes Sports,†“A Season with Notre Dame Football†and “Inside the NFL.â€

“Kobe Bryant’s Muse†includes intimate and exclusive footage in the aftermath of Bryant’s shoulder injury that ended his 2014-2015 season with the Lakers. Bryant narrates the film, discussing his determination to cement his legacy, his motivation and his contemplation of life after sports.
The film was directed by Gotham Chopra and was executive produced by Bryant and Chopra in association with Mamba Media.
A Showtime spokesperson said there are no plans at this time for a follow-up film that would chronicle Bryant’s final season.
