‘Chicago Fire’ gets a full season pickup

“Chicago Fire” will burn all season.

The freshman NBC drama about Chicago firefighters and rescue workers has received a full season pickup, the network announced. The series from executive producer Dick Wolf has steadily grown in viewership since its debut.

“We love this thrilling new drama with its sexy breakout cast,” said NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke. “We are excited to see it gaining traction on our schedule...We are incredibly invested in this one and can’t wait to hear about their plans for the rest of the season.”
