“Pussy Riot — A Punk Prayer” revisits the tale of three artist-activists arrested after a 2011 protest against Russian leader Vladimir Putin in a Moscow cathedral. 9 p.m. HBO
Norm! And Cliff! And Sam and Diane! “The Cast of Cheers: Where Are They Now?” gets you caught up with the stars of the Emmy-winning 1980s-era sitcom. 9 p.m. TVGN
The Kyra Sedgwick cop drama “The Closer” closed shop last summer. But its spin-off, “Major Crimes,” is back for a second season. Mary McDonnell stars. 9 p.m. TNT
