Rashida Jones is apologizing to John Travolta, after the actress urged him the come out of the closet.
Promoting her romantic comedy “Celeste and Jesse Forever,” Jones revealed her admiration for Frank Ocean, the R&B; crooner who opened up this summer about his relationship with another man.
The interview in question, published on SpinningPlatters.com, noted that there’s still a need for high-profile folks to come out. Jones offered up Travolta.

“A movie star. Like John Travolta? Come out! Come on. How many masseurs have to come forward? Let’s do this,” she said, referring to numerous massage therapists who have accused the “Savages” actor of making sexual advances.
Rashida sent a Tuesday tweet apologizing for the quote, saying she “made a thoughtless comment about John Travolta. I sincerely apologize. Nobody’s personal life is my business.”
Comment aside, the apology is a pretty classy move for such a hot-button issue. But we’ve come to expect it from Rashida: Beyonce doesn’t give you props for nothing.
