When you make your film debut in a Woody Allen movie, things are looking pretty good. Dunst started out as a child model in TV commercials. At the age of 8, she appeared in the “Oedipus Wrecks†short that was part of Allen’s 1989 anthology “New York Stories.†She later played Tom Hanks’ daughter in the film adaptation of “The Bonfire of the Vanities.†(Paul Morse / Los Angeles Times)
Dunst, who in her youth had modeling deals with Ford Models and Elite Model Management, has often made news for her fashion sense. She is a good friend and supporter of Laura, left, and Kate Mulleavy, the Pasadena sisters behind the Rodarte fashion label. (John Shearer / Getty Images for MOCA)
