‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ deleted scene shows Kylo Ren in the Millennium Falcon
Earlier this month Disney and Lucasfilm revealed that Chewie and Han Solo would be coming home, specifically your home in the form of DVD, Blu-Ray and digital release. And you know what that means: lots of sneak peeks at never-before-seen deleted scenes and behind-the-scenes footage, like this one with Kylo Ren on the Millennium Falcon.
A quick advertisement for the additional features available on the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens†DVD revealed a potentially pretty compelling “Star Wars†moment that didn’t make the final cut of J.J. Abrams’ film. Warning: spoilers ahead.
The video, above, shows Kylo Ren (played by actor Adam Driver) brooding his way through the illustrious Millennium Falcon, or as we now all know, his dad, Han Solo’s, ship.
Unfortunately things didn’t go as planned in the film’s father and son reunion, and perhaps the buildup to that pivotal moment was why Abrams cut this moment with Ren rifling through his father’s ship. It’s kind of amazing that even completely covered up from head-to-toe Driver still manages to ooze emo with each angry-kid step.
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens†will be available for digital download on April 1 and DVD on April 5.
