‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.’ trailer brings baby Groot and a whole lot of fun
Marvel just dropped a bit of footage from its next, big comic book movie “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.†And it’s got all the things fans loved from the original — jokes, tunes, aliens and Groot!
Set to the sounds of “Fox on the Run†from Sweet, the new teaser premiered first at the Comic Con Experience in São Paulo, Brazil. Director James Gunn is back, corralling the unlikely band of space heroes: Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel), and Rocket the raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper).
The sequel promises a few new characters, with Kurt Russell joining the cast, but it will also reunite the Guardians with the first movie’s original space pirate Yondu (Michael Rooker) and the villainous Nebula (Karen Gillan).
“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2†will hit theaters in May 2017.
