The long-rumored “Fallout 4†is a go.

After teasing the game Tuesday, Bethesda Softworks on Wednesday unveiled a three-minute trailer for the upcoming post-apocalyptic game. The title is said to be in the works for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

No release date was given.

Bethesda promised more information at its press conference pegged to the Electronic Entertainment Expo -- more commonly known as E3 -- later in June.

The company will host a presentation at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on June 14 at 7 p.m. PDT to be streamed live via Twitch and YouTube.

In the trailer, above, players are given a look into a suburban home before and after a nuclear war. Set to the tune of “It’s All Over But the Crying†by rhythm and blues vocal group the Ink Spots, the clip brings a dog’s-eye-view to a retro-futuristic suburbia before showing glimpses of what appears to be a ravaged Boston.

The teaser comes to a close with a shot that recalls “Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior,†as we get a snippet of a seemingly male protagonist and his canine pal.

The development of the game is being overseen by “Fallout†series veteran Todd Howard.

“We know what this game means to everyone,†said Howard in a press release. “The time and technology have allowed us to be more ambitious than ever.â€
