David Arquette and Christina McLarty got married Sunday in Los Angeles, his representative confirmed Monday.
The couple of four years were married among “family and friends,” including their son Charlie and his daughter Coco with ex Courteney Cox and their two basset hounds.
The actor, 43, and the entertainment reporter, 33, met in 2011, took a short break in 2012 and then got engaged at a Malibu restaurant last July, a little more than two months after their son’s birth. According to Page Six, he had to propose twice that night, once inside and once outside with fewer eyes on them, to get a yes.
“I couldn’t have met a more beautiful-er woman,” Arquette said of McLarty onstage April 2 at the Improv on Melrose, where he was discussing his impending nuptials and his philosophy on life, which includes treating others with kindness and, well, simply not being a jerk.
“I still love my ex with all my heart,” he admitted. “I have a little thing.”
Arquette and Cox got married in 1999 and separated in 2010. Their divorce was final in May 2013. McClarty was previously domestic-partnered with Joe Francis of “Girls Gone Wild” fame, whom she’d dated for four years.
