In Cameron Diaz’s latest comedy, “The Other Woman,†the 41-year-old plays a woman seeking revenge against her boyfriend after discovering he has a wife and a girlfriend. Tsk, tsk.

In real life, Diaz says, infidelity unfortunately strikes us all. “Everybody has been cheated on, everyone will be cheated on,†she told Britain’s OK! magazine (via the New York Daily News). “I can’t fix that, I don’t know how, I don’t have any judgment on anybody, I don’t know how to fix the problem.â€

The blond actress has dated high-profile celebrities including Jared Leto, Justin Timberlake and Alex Rodriguez. And she was rumored to have dated Jude Law, Bradley Cooper and Gerard Butler.

Sure, there’s potential room for cheating among the lengthy list. Consider some of the guys’ alleged track records.

Diaz continued: “We are human beings, we are complicated — you cannot go through life without tallying up a few scars, you cannot go through life unscathed, it’s just what it is. It’s all meant to happen, take your lessons, figure it out, move on.â€

It’s always easier to overcome those tough situations with the support of friends. “I am very, very, very fortunate; my friends are incredible and I am very lucky to have a lot of really solid, good friends — girlfriends and male friends — who I can just rely on.â€

“We are tribal, we need our tribe,†Diaz said. “I have a bunch of little tribes all over the world that I pop to for a little bit of time, and then I move on and that’s the great thing about being mobile; a lot of my friends have kids and they are stuck, planted in one place, and I kind of get to pop into all the different little tribes around the world and hang out for a little bit.â€

Infidelity isn’t the only thing on Diaz’s mind. As the author of the New York Times bestseller “The Body Book,†she says there is no such thing as anti-aging. Diaz got into more detail in an interview for “Oprah Prime†with the talk-show host herself.

“As somebody who just turned 60 ... it just pisses me off,†Winfrey said.

“I know, me too,†Diaz said. “I get so mad when I hear commercials on television where [they say] ‘anti-aging.’â€

“Like we’re supposed to now apologize for being who you are and where you are and what it took you to get here,†Winfrey said.

That’s the key, according to Diaz. “We don’t honor the journey and who we are and how much we have to offer,†she said. “It’s almost as if we have failed if we don’t remain 25 for the rest of our lives.†As if it were a personal failure that at 40 years old, Diaz said, she didn’t look like she was half her age.

“Oh, I’m sorry, I apologize, I wasn’t able to defy …,†Diaz said, before she and Winfrey finished the sentence in unison, “... nature!â€

Uh-huh!

“The Other Woman,†which also stars Leslie Mann, Kate Upton and Nicki Minaj, hits theaters April 25.
