Amber Rose slams rumors she cheated, accuses Wiz Khalifa of infidelity
Amber Rose is shutting down rumors that she cheated on her future ex-husband, Wiz Khalifa.
The model, 30, who filed for divorce from the “Black and Yellow” rapper on Tuesday, took to Twitter on Thursday to slam rumors that she’d been unfaithful to her husband of 14 months and do a little virtual finger pointing instead.
“Please stop with the fake stories. I would never ever ever cheat on my husband in a million years I think u guys know this,” she wrote, adding, “Unfortunately my now ex husband can’t say the same...”
The singer and fashion designer, real name Amber Levonchuk, cited irreconcilable differences in her divorce petition and is seeking full legal and physical custody of the couple’s 19-month-old son, Sebastian, with visitation for Wiz. Their prenuptial agreement lays out terms for spousal support as well, according to court documents.
“I’m devastated and crushed but my main focus is Sebastian,” she tweeted after her declarations. “Thank u for all the support in this difficult time.”
The Pittsburgh rapper, 27, didn’t directly respond to the former stripper’s allegation but decided to take a more positive approach on social media.
“Today is a magical day for many of us. Let it be yours too,” he tweeted a few hours after his wife’s tweets showed up, then he posted a photo of himself with a French bulldog that he captioned, “Smile for the day.”
There didn’t seem to be trouble in paradise last month as the couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary with sweet posts on Instagram. However, news broke last week that the model had signed with a snazzy new manager: “America’s Got Talent” host Nick Cannon, who is currently on the outs with wife Mariah Carey.
Infidelity allegations erupted from both camps as soon as Amber filed her petition, but people close to Cannon quickly extinguished those rumors, saying that he didn’t know her marriage was on the rocks until he signed her as a client last week, TMZ reported.
Irreconcilable differences, indeed. Follow me on Twitter @NardineSaad.
