Producers Guild announces documentary nominees
The Producers Guild of America announced the five documentary nominees for the PGA Awards.
The films are “A Place at the Table,†a study of hunger in America; “Far Out Isn’t Far Enough: The Tomi Ungerer Story,†about the children’s book author and illustrator; “Life According to Sam,†on a child’s struggle with a disease of premature aging; “We Steal Secrets: The Story of WikiLeaks,†a history of the online publisher; and “Which Way Is the Front Line From Here? The Life and Time of Tim Hetherington,†about the photojournalist.
The names of the eligible producers for these films will be announced on Jan. 2, along with all other nominations for the 2014 Producers Guild Award categories.
The 2014 PGA award winners will be announced on Jan. 19 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
