TV ratings: ‘Dancing With the Stars’ leads Monday viewership

ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars†grooved its way to the top as the most watched TV program on Monday, making ABC the most watched network of the night.

With 14.2 million viewers, the reality show, which increased its viewership 5% from last week, was No. 1 for the fifth week in a row, according to early numbers from Nielson.

NBC’s “The Voice,†which was second in overall viewership, nabbed the No. 1 spot among the key 18-to-49-year-old viewers with a rating of 3.3. In 18-49, a ratings point equals roughly 1.3 million viewers.

The “Dancing With the Stars†episode, which celebrated the music of Disney’s animated movies, took the No. 2 spot in the demo, with a rating of 2.3.

NBC took the No. 1 network in 18-49 with a 2.7 and was second overall with 9.8 million viewers.

CBS, which aired episodes of “2 Broke Girls,†“Mike & Molly,†“Mom,†“Person of Interest†and “Friends with Better Lives,†drew in roughly 6 million viewers.

However, only “Mike & Molly†improved its 18-49 rating, with a 5% increase from its most recent original episode on March 24.

Elsewhere, on Fox, “Bones†decreased 13% from last week in the 18-49 demographic, with a rating of 1.4. The network’s other Monday night series “The Following†stayed the same as last week, with a rating of 1.4 among key young adults.
