Sharon Osbourne has COVID-19, the co-host of “The Talk†announced on social media.

“After a brief hospitalization, I’m now recuperating at a location away from Ozzy (who has tested negative) while The Talk is on scheduled hiatus,†she wrote late Monday on Instagram. “Everyone please stay safe and healthy.â€

(Husband Ozzy Osbourne, 72, is at high risk due to his age and health issues that include the Parkinson’s diagnosis he revealed in January.)

Fellow panelist Carrie Ann Inaba came down with COVID-19 last week, and Osbourne, 68, initially tested negative for the virus but did last Thursday’s show from home “out of an abundance of caution,†co-host Sheryl Underwood said on the show.

Panelist Eve was also remote, though appeared to be in-studio. The CBS show has been running with four hosts since Marie Osmond’s departure earlier this year.

Late last week, talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres also tested positive for the virus and put her show on hold until the new year.

Pre-taped episodes of “The Talk†started airing Monday, as the show is now on hiatus.

Well wishes for Osbourne were coming in from the likes of Rumer Willis, Aisha Tyler, Carnie Wilson and new “The Talk†panelists Elaine Welteroth and Amanda Kloots, who will join the group when the new season starts Jan. 4. (Kloots lost her husband, Broadway star Nick Cordero, to the virus in July.)

“Wishing you a speedy recovery, Mrs. O, we love you,†read a comment from “The Talk†posted on Osbourne’s Instagram announcement.

Even the ill Inaba had a wish for Osbourne, saying in comments, “Love you so much my friend. Sending you so much love... and praying for a full recovery.â€

In Inaba’s video announcement last Thursday, the “Dancing With the Stars†judge said her symptoms included a fever and a bad cough.

“Hey Everyone, I have tested positive for COVID 19. I’m home with some symptoms and will be sequestering as per the CDC guidelines, resting and taking care of myself ... I have been in a very safe environment following all the guidelines and safety protocols and it still found it’s way to me,†Inaba wrote on Instagram, posting a video showing her sick self. “So, this is a friendly reminder to be extra careful this holiday season.â€

After advising fans to wear masks, stay distanced and wash their hands, the 52-year-old promised to keep people updated on her journey.

Kelly Ripa, Julie Chen, Jenna Dewan, current “DWTS†champ Kaitlyn Bristowe, Anne Heche, Donny Osmond, Brie Bella, Peta Murgatroyd, Cheryl Burke and Rosie Perez were among the many notable people wishing Inaba well in comments.
