16 GB Nexus 7 back in stock on Google Play
Google Play is once again carrying the 16-gigabyte version of the Nexus 7 after selling out of the device last week.
Google stopped taking orders for the device for a full week, but the 16 GB Nexus 7 is back and it’s got a pretty decent shipping time -- currently listed at just three to five days.
The Nexus 7 tablet has been a success thus far for the tech company.
Retail partners began listing the device as out of stock, back ordered or coming soon not long after they began carrying the product earlier this month.
But the 16 GB model became completely sold out last week, and Google had to stop accepting online orders July 23. Users could sign up to be alerted when the product was put back up, and Google sent out those emails Monday morning.
As for retailers, sales of the device are different from store to store. Sam’s Club appears to be selling it online, GameStop remains sold out while Staples and Office Depot seem to have the 16 GB Nexus 7 as in-store specials only.
You can find the 16 GB Nexus 7 from Google Play here.
