More real estate action for Marvel Comics’ Stan Lee
Stan Lee of Marvel Comics fame is seeing a lot of action of late in the real estate market. He bought a Contemporary house in Hollywood Hills West last month for $4.4 million after selling a nearby house for $2.8 million.
His new place has 5,285 square feet of living space and sits on more than half an acre. Living and dining rooms, a den, a home theater, four bedrooms, seven bathrooms and a sauna are among interior spaces.
The grounds include a swimming pool, a spa and patios.
The 93-year-old Lee co-created comic book superheroes such as Spider-Man, the Hulk and the X-Men. The former president and chairman of Marvel Comics served as executive producer on numerous Marvel films and the TV series “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.â€
The property previously changed hands in 2005 for $3.225 million. Hat tip goes to Trulia for spotting the purchase.
Craig Knizek and Debra Jaffe of the Agency and Brent Friedland of Coldwell Banker were the listing agents. Zachary Paul Knapp of Nest Seekers represented Lee.
