Los Feliz home of late actor Ron Glass lists for sale at $1.85 million

A Los Feliz residence owned by late television actor Ron Glass has come on the market for $1.85 million.

The Midcentury Modern-style home on a hillside lot features beamed ceilings, walls of glass and a living room with a centerpiece fireplace. Views from the wraparound balcony extend from downtown L.A. to the ocean.

The two-car garage sits off the front of the home.

The property last changed hands in 1978 for $160,000, records show.

Alison Whitaker of Sotheby’s International Realty holds the listing.

Glass, who died last month at 71, got his start as a comic actor, appearing in the sitcoms “Sanford and Son,†“All in the Family†and “Good Times.†He is best remembered for his roles in the show “Barney Miller†and the sci-fi series “Firefly.â€
