Actress Poppy Montgomery is moving up. She has bought a newly built home in Pacific Palisades for $4,898,585 -- not to put too fine a point on it.
The “Unforgettable” star sold her home in Brentwood earlier this year for $3.856 million.
Her new Traditional-style home combines classic good looks with contemporary flair. Hand-honed woodwork, cabinetry and fireplace mantels are among the architectural details.
There are oak floors throughout the five-bedroom two-story, which features two family rooms, a bar, a bonus room and 4.5 bathrooms. The master suite has one of the home’s three fireplaces and takes in ocean views. A sitting room with French doors and mountain views is at the top of the staircase.
Accordion-style glass doors open the main living space to a covered patio with a rustic brick fireplace and a chandelier. The back and front yards are lawn.
Montgomery, 42, has starred on the police drama “Unforgettable” since 2011. The Australian-born actress was in the mystery series “Without a Trace” from 2002 to 2009.
The asking price of the house she bought was $4.895 million.
Melissa Ellis of Gibson International was the listing agent. Clifford Rowe of Teles Properties represented Montgomery, the Multiple Listing Service shows.
