Crooner Pat Boone puts quaint Burbank home up for sale
A Burbank home owned by singer, actor and television personality Pat Boone has come on the market for $725,000.
A stark contrast to Boone’s multimillion-dollar estate on the Westside, the quaint 1940s house sits on a tree-lined street and is fronted by a covered porch.
The property has a living room with a fireplace, a formal dining room, three bedrooms and 1.75 bathrooms in 1,500 square feet on a single story. A galley-style kitchen opens to the family room area.
Outdoors, there’s a covered patio, landscaping and a detached two-car garage. Additional space behind the garage was added for storage, according to the listing details.
Boone bought the house nearly a decade ago for $642,500, records show.
Rodney Johnson of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties holds the listing.
The 82-year-old Boone gained fame in the 1950s covering pop and R&B songs. Later in his career, his repertoire grew to include the country and gospel genres.
He hosted “The Pat Boone Chevy Showroom†series starting in the late ’50s and has numerous credits for acting and soundtrack performances.
