Actors Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas have sold their marital home in Hancock Park for $15.947 million.

Known as the Isidor Eisner Estate for its first owner, the 1925 mansion was designed by Hoover Dam architect Gordon B. Kaufmann. Griffith and Banderas combined two properties to create the 1.5-acre site.

The Italian Revival-style home draws the eye up with its hand-stenciled coffered ceilings, vaulted beams and wood-paneled ceilings. Grand spaces harking back to the days of gracious living include the two-story banquet hall. There’s also a two-story kitchen.

A paneled library, a recording studio, a gym, an elevator, 4 fireplaces, 13 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms are also within the 15,110 square feet of living space on three stories. Multiple balconies bring in views of the gardens.

A stone driveway, expansive lawns, rose and vegetable garden and a courtyard swimming pool complete the grounds.

Griffith, 57, appears in the 2015 films “Out of Days†and “Facing the Wind†as well as the TV movie “Nerd Herd.†She starred in “Crazy in Alabama†(1999), “Lolita†(1997) and “Working Girl†(1988).

The actors bought the main property for $4.2 million in 1999, public records show, and in 2000 spent $1.3 million for an adjacent lot. Griffith filed for a divorce last year.

Brett Lawyer of Hilton & Hyland, an affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, was the listing agent. Jonah Wilson, also with Hilton & Hyland, represented the buyer.
