Jean-Claude Van Damme lists his trophy home along canal in Marina del Rey
Jean-Claude Van Damme, of martial-arts film fame, has listed his Marina Del Rey home for sale at $9.999 million.
The custom home sits on a canal with cityscape and ocean views. The more than 7,500 square feet of living space on three stories contains a home theater, a gym and a wine cellar. An elevator is among the amenities.
The master retreat has dual bathrooms for a total of six bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. There are five interior fireplaces and one outside. Decks extend the living space outdoors.
The rooftop deck with a pool offers 360-degree vistas.
Van Damme, 54, is a martial artist, actor and film producer and director. The Belgian kickboxer and bodybuilder will star next year in the film “Kickboxer: Vengeance.” He is known for his roles in “Until Death” (2007), “Double Impact” (1991) and “Bloodsport” (1988).
“The Muscles from Brussels,” as he is nicknamed, bought the property in 2012 for $6 million.
