Actress Christina Ricci got to swing an ax for her role in the upcoming TV movie “Lizzie Borden Took an Ax.” Now it remains to be seen whether she will need to use her chopping skills on the $1.695-million asking price of her Hollywood Hills home.
Set behind a gated drive and built in 1957, the 1,891-square-foot traditional-style home features an open floor plan, a library/study, two bedrooms and three bathrooms.
French doors open to a covered patio, a swimming pool and terraced gardens on the quarter-acre lot.
Ricci, who turns 34 on Feb. 12, played daughter Wednesday in two “Addams Family” movies as a child. She starred in the films “Monster” (2003) and “Sleepy Hollow” (1999) and will star in “Mothers Day,” due for release in May.

Ricci married James Heerdegen, a dolly grip technician, in October. She paid $1.505 million in 2005 for the property in the Oaks area of Los Feliz, according to Trulia, which broke the news of the listing.
Aileen Comora and Paul Lester of the Agency are the listing agents.
