Alexandra Hedison, the actress-photographer-designer who wed Oscar-winning actress Jodie Foster this spring, has sold a piece of her handywork in Hollywood Hills West home for $3,160,625. The house had been listed at $2.75 million.

FOR THE RECORD
Dec. 18, 11:28 a.m.: An earlier version of this story incorrectly said that Alexandra Hedison was the home seller. She was the designer.
------------
Hedison, who is a designer, rebuilt and updated the 1956 home, which forms the shape of a boomerang and has a central swimming pool. Among upgrades were new wiring, plumbing, roof, windows and a security system.
Clerestory windows and sliding glass doors flood the four-bedroom, four-bathroom house with light. There are two fireplaces, terrazzo flooring, multiple patios and canyon and city views.
Hedison’s photographs have been displayed around the world. Her acting credits include “The L Word” (2006-09), “Prey” (1998) and “L.A. Firefighters” (1996-97).
Barry Gray of Deasy Penner & Partners was the listing agent. Laura Stupsker of the Agency represented the buyer.
