Stock market opens with small declines

The U.S. stock market is opening with small losses as financial and industrial companies fall the most.
The Standard & Poor’s 500 index is down two points, or 0.1%, to 2,095 in early trading Friday. The Dow Jones industrial average is off 30 points, or 0.2%, to 17,955. The Nasdaq has slipped five points, or 0.1%, to 4,918.
The yield on the 10-year Treasury note has fallen to 2.07% from 2.11% late Thursday. Yields fall as bond prices rise.
Benchmark U.S. crude is down 47 cents to $51.36 a barrel.
