Update: The Ducks are trying to get back on track after a three-game winning streak ended Wednesday in a 4-1 loss to Nashville that included two empty-net goals. Winger Jason Blake skated Thursday but remains day to day because of a shoulder injury. The Blue Jackets are in some turmoil after veteran defenseman Mike Commodore was placed on waivers Thursday following his recent trade request after becoming a regular healthy scratch. Winger Rick Nash leads the team with 32 points, including 18 goals — three in two games against the Ducks this season. Blue Jackets winger Ethan Moreau is on injured reserve because of a rib injury.
