Update: The Clippers may wallow near the bottom of the Western Conference, but rookie forward Blake Griffin has been one of the top stories of the season. He has had double-doubles in 21 consecutive games. Denver has won four consecutive games and is sixth in the conference, yet the Carmelo Anthony saga lurches on. He will be an unrestricted free agent at season’s end and has reportedly passed on a three-year, $65-million contract extension offer from the Nuggets.
