Update: The Kings are 1-3 on this seven-game homestand after beating the Ducks, 4-0, on Thursday. After ending a stretch of seven losses in 10 games they are a point ahead of Detroit, which has a game in hand. Injured defensemen Matt Greene and Davis Drewiske skated Friday but won’t play. The Bruins are 1-1 on their trip to California after a loss to the Ducks and a shootout win over San Jose. After this game they don’t play outside the Eastern time zone again this season. Just for comparison, the Kings have 14 games left outside the Pacific time zone.
